Unique Tree Trunk Porch Supports
We searched up and down the UK to source 5 of the biggest oak tree trunks we could find to satisfy the design requirements of this statement pool house porch. The architect was keen to celebrate the natural beauty and character of the timber and so resisted any urge to plane them down beyond removing the outer bark and trimming the branches back for a truly authentic, rustic finish. The hand steamed curved fascia board above is one of the largest we have made and combines traditional green oak joinery with handcrafted detailing. The finished result is a truly unique building.
