Cross-Brace Railings

Old metal bridge railings have been upgraded here and replaced with a bespoke set of rails in oak (of course), featuring a cross-brace design. Each post is topped with handmade onion shaped decorative finial for a 'finial' finishing touch.

A Family of Bridges

This project involved crafting three bespoke bridges. Two up‑and‑over bridges replaced older, deteriorated structures, using traditional oak framing, driven posts for long‑lasting strength, and clean, simple detailing to form practical and attractive links across the landscape. With several waterways to tackle, a third, smaller bridge with decorative handrails completes the set and sits comfortably alongside its bigger sister bridges.

From Foot To Vehicle

A small foot bridge was given a major upgrade to a bespoke oak vehicle bridge, dutifully tested by Oli. Several times!

Sluice Gate Bridge

The original metal railings on this paved sluice gate bridge were given an upgrade with these bespoke oak railings and hand rails.
